About Your Tutor

Meet Annette Waterhouse

Hi, I’m Annette! I fell in love with Spanish when I went on my first Spanish exchange to Granada at the age of 15. I continued to A levels and then to study Hispanic Studies at University. I began my working career as a Spanish linguist in the manufacturing industry before branching out into translation and tuition 25 years ago. I love my job and watching students grow in confidence and achieve and surpass their learning goals; it’s what gets me up in the morning!

Face-to-Face Tutoring

I offer in-person tutoring if you are local to the Ross-on-Wye area whether it be 1-1 or group classes.

Online Tutoring

Perfect for those wanting to learn Spanish but who are not local or who just haven’t the time to travel and prefer to learn in the comfort of their own home. This can also be 1-1 learning or group classes.

My daughter is in her final year of GCSE's and was finding Spanish challenging and was concerned that she was not going to do very well. She was happy to consider a tutor for extra help. We found Annette online and she has been brilliant, my daughter had 3 face -to face sessions to get to know her and now has her lessons online. She has completed her first block of 10 lessons and has not missed one lesson, she engages well, is enthusiastic, completes her homework, and has shown real progression.
